For years, my sister company Curtains BD had been serving homes, offices, hotels, and commercial spaces across all eight divisions of Bangladesh. We were doing well. Customers were happy. But they kept pulling me aside and asking:
"Rafiq bhai, curtains are beautiful... but do you have something more modern? Something that doesn't collect dust? Something I can actually clean without calling a dry cleaner?"
Or:

I didn't have a good answer. Not then.
So I spent months visiting factories, testing fabrics in our humidity, watching how different materials handled Bangladesh's heat, dust, and sudden monsoons. Most failed. A few surprised me.
